Transaction lifecycle

Flowlex prepares the steps for an action, your wallet authorizes it, and your Safe smart account executes it on-chain. The path below explains where assets go and who owns the resulting position. For the distinction between your signer and your Safe, see Wallets and ownership.

Follow the assets

Choose a stage to see where the assets are and what your wallet owns.

  1. Your Safe

Available tokens belong to your Safe account.

Asset location
Supported tokens are at your Safe address. An available wallet balance is not automatically invested.
Ownership
Your connected wallet or Privy embedded wallet is the signer used to authorize Safe actions.
Flowlex’s role
Your available wallet balance is not deposited into the Flowlex position manager.

A simplified explanation of the standard Base flow. Funding from another network can add a separate bridge step. Ownership is subject to your wallet’s signers, enabled modules and granted approvals.

1. Review and authorize

You choose an action such as opening, claiming, rebalancing, or closing. Flowlex prepares the required contract calls and the available estimates. You review the amount, destination, range, and costs before confirming.

Your connected wallet or embedded Privy wallet signs the operation for your Safe. Related calls, such as an approval followed by opening a position, can be grouped into one operation. The review screens may differ between individual and batch actions.

2. Submit and execute

A bundler submits the signed operation to the blockchain. Safe’s account-abstraction module checks the owner authorization and executes the requested calls. A paymaster may sponsor network fees. These services transport or pay for the operation; they do not become owners of your account. See Safe’s explanation.

The management contract processes the requested liquidity action. It can receive tokens temporarily during execution, perform swaps, and interact with Uniswap. It is not a standing custody account for your available wallet balance. See Contracts on Base for its address and related contracts.

3. Follow the assets

ActionAsset movement and result
OpenYour Safe supplies the authorized amount. The management contract performs the required swap and supplies liquidity to Uniswap. The position NFT is minted to your Safe, and unused tokens return to it.
ClaimAccrued fees are collected through the management contract, processed according to the action, and returned to your Safe. The position remains open.
RebalanceThe old position is unwound and a new range is created, with swaps where needed. Your Safe owns the new position NFT and receives unused tokens.
CloseLiquidity is removed and proceeds are returned to your Safe in the selected supported asset format. Sending them to another address is a separate wallet action.

While a position is open, its underlying tokens are deployed in Uniswap. Your Safe owns the NFT representing that position; the invested tokens are separate from its available wallet balance.

4. Check the result

The confirmed transaction records the actual on-chain movements. App balances and position values may take time to refresh. If funding starts on another network, bridging and opening on Base can be separate transactions with a waiting period between them.

A management-contract pause can prevent its supported operations without changing NFT ownership. Execution also depends on the network, wallet services, approvals, and contract rules. Read Ownership and risks alongside the transaction preview.
