Fees and costs

Providing liquidity can earn trading fees, but managing a position can also involve costs. A positive fee balance does not necessarily mean the position has made a profit: changes in token prices and execution costs affect the overall result.

Flowlex service fees

Flowlex currently charges no service fees: 0% for all actions, including opening a position, claiming trading fees, closing a position and rebalancing.

Pool swap fees, network fees and bridge costs may still apply, as described below. Review the transaction preview for the estimated costs before confirming.

Pool fees: income and cost

A pool's fee tier describes the fee charged on swaps through that pool. It is not your expected return. While your liquidity is active within its price range, your position can earn a share of eligible trading fees. Earnings depend on trading activity, your share of active liquidity and time spent in range.

The same pool fee can become a cost when an action requires a swap. Opening with one asset, changing the token ratio during a rebalance, or converting proceeds to USDC may involve swaps. The quoted output reflects the swap route and pool conditions.

Execution and network costs

Keep these separate when reviewing an action:

  • Price impact: the effect of your trade on the execution price, which depends on trade size and available liquidity.
  • Slippage: the difference between a quote and execution. A slippage tolerance sets a limit; it is not a fixed fee charged on every trade.
  • Network fees: the cost of processing transactions. Flowlex sponsors supported app transactions when sponsorship is available. This does not make swaps, bridging or every wallet action cost-free.
  • Bridge costs: moving funds between networks can involve separate provider fees and execution costs, shown in the relevant quote.

Rebalancing more often does not guarantee better results. Fees earned may be smaller than the costs of adjusting the position. Review the proposed action, its estimated proceeds and your exposure before confirming.
